WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE IN BALANCE?
When I started practicing The Balance Procedure, it really got me pondering about what being in balance actually means, or to put another spin on it – what does it mean to be out of balance?
When I think about balance, so many connotations come up. I think of the physical aspects of balance – how we strive to perfect yoga balances, how we learn to walk, ride bicycles and run. How we need to trust that of we fall we will survive because we cared for by our intrinsic selves as well as our higher being.
Then I think about what it is to live a balanced lifestyle. To eat a balanced diet to keep healthy, to balance sedentry work with physical activity, and to counteract work with play.
And what about balancing money? What goes out mustn’t exceed what is coming in. We need to keep that cup full and overflowing, both in monetary abundance, but also our mental energy. When we get into negative equity energy-wise, we soon know about it!
And then it comes to oursleves and our thoughts, feelings and emotions. To feel balanced inside of ourselves – to have the perfect equilibrium of mind, body and spirit. And it’s on-going. What about the feminine and masculine, day and night, heaven and earth….the list goes on and on.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M OUT OF BALANCE?
First off, you’ll feel anxious. Anxiety is a signal that your body is in fight or flight mode (a state we get in when we’re in “high alert”.) You may lack energy, be on a “high” followed by a slump, you may have trouble sleeping, have niggling thoughts, experience weight gain or loss, bingeing on food, television or the internet, feel uninspired, bored or uncreative. I’m sure there are atleast one in that list which you’re thinking, “Yeah, that’s me.” We all experience it at some point in our lives – sometimes worse than others, but it’s part of human existence. If our needs aren’t being met, our bodies will tell us.

AND WHAT ABOUT IF I’M IN BALANCE?
I’m sure you’ve heard of the term “high vibe” before. It simply means that you are vibrating at a higher rate (when you are in a state of anxiety, you will be in a lower state.) When we vibrate higher, we attract other high vibe energies. If you are new to the Law Of Attraction, there are some amazing resources out there (a good place to start is The Secret which explains it very simply.)
HOLD UP, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
When you are in balance, you will start to attract incredible opportunities, people and abundance in to your life. You will create a new reality, a new way of thinking and it will feel good! New possibilities will open up to you, you will feel creative, without boundaries or limitations, feel inspired and downright alive!
SO HOW DO I BALANCE MYSELF?
There are so many ways, bith physically and mindfully, it just depends on what resonates with you and your time limits! You can use meditation, yoga, crystals, Acupuncture, essences, colour and sound therapy, EFT and Reiki to name but a few.
I found The Balance Procedure to be the simplest, quickest and most discrete way of balancing. Being a registered Complementary Therapist myself, trained in many different fields and using energy modalities daily, it wasn’t until I discovered TBP that it dawned on me how effortless it could and should be.
I use TBP every morming upon waking, to realign and ground myself as it sets me up for good stead for the day. Throughout the day if I feel any resistance or that I’m out of whack, then I grab my cards, “balance check” and get on with my day. Some days I’m glued to my cards, while others I may feel so in the flow that I don’t need them so much. Every day is so different!
Knowing that Im in control of my energy is so liberating – I’m able to change it within seconds and move on. There’s nothing worse than being stuck in a head funk and unable to get yourself out of it, is there? Also there’s no need to bring up the causes of my blocks, so I don’t have to identify and work on painful or traumatic memories (because who wants to do that on their daily commute?)
